Take the road from Margalef that leads to the finestra climbing sector.

The line :
Where ?
The highline is crossing the two blocs you see at the top of the right part of the cliff. You need to take the path that gets around the main cliff, and then climb the path behind : you will finally reach the top of the cliff, just near the two blocs.

Who - When ?
??? We don't know for the first openers, but the first repeaters are Sebastien BRUGALLA, Tancrede MELET and Ingrid LAILLAUT on the 11th of april 2010.

Anchors :
Right side when you look the valley  : six 12mm bolts, for line and back-up, the bloc can be climbed without equipment and ropes. But you have a bolt at the top to rope down.
Left side : six  12mm bolts, for line and back-up, on this bloc there was a static rope to climb. If not you have a few bolts to climb it.

Linking :
Easy, just cross with a rope.

Rigging :
Primitiv system.

Remarks :
This is a very nice highline, with a big drop underneath your feets.
The owner of the refugio in Margalef told me about this highline. Actually I was there the day before, seeking for potential highlines, but I didn't notice the anchorages. I just thought it was not safe enough, seeing the way the blocs were laying on the ground : for me it seemed they could fall at any time, and this is what I answered to the guy in the refugio. He laughed and said : don't worry, it has been like this for ages, and the guys who opened the slack kept falling, and the blocs didn't fall!
Well, who knows : if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time...

La ligne :
Où ?
La highline passe entre les deux blocs que l'on voit en haut à droite de la falaise. Il faut prendre le chemin qui mène à la falaise et continuer plus haut : on arrive finalement en haut de la falaise, à côté des blocs.

Qui - Quand?
??? Nous ne connaissons pas les premiers ouvreurs, mais les premiers répétiteurs sont Sébastien BRUGALLA, Tancrède MELET et Ingrid LAILLAUT le 11 avril 2010.

Ancrages :
Côté droit en regardant la vallée :  six spits de 12mm pour la ligne et le backup. Le bloc peut se gravir sans équipement ni cordes. Il y a un spit en haut pour un rappel.
Côté gauche : six spits de 12mm, pour la ligne et le backup. Sur ce bloc, il y a une corde statique pour y monter. Il y a aussi quelques clous si la corde n'est pas là.

Passage de la ligne :
Facile, passer avec une corde.

Tensions :
Système Primitiv.

Remarques :
Une magnifique highline, avec un gros gaz sous les pieds.
C'est le propriétaire du refuge de Margalef qui nous a parlé de cette highline. En fait, j'y étais allé le jour d'avant, sans voir les ancrages. J'ai juste pensé que ce n'était pas assez sécurisé, en voyant comment les blocs étaient posés sur le sol : pour moi, il me semblait qu'ils pouvaient tomber n'importe quand, et c'est ce que j'ai dit au refuge. Il a rigolé en me disant : pas de problèmes, cela fait des lustres qu'ils sont comme ça, l'ouvreur de la highline n'a pas arrêté de tomber, et les blocs ne sont pas tombés!
Bon, qui sait : si vous êtes au mauvais endroit au mauvais moment...
